Project results

The result of the three-year project was a cloud-based solution and the formation of a framework that created new market opportunities for small and medium-sized developer enterprises. This meant that cloud solutions, which were already available to larger companies, were now obtainable and more affordable to operate for SMEs too.

The project resulted in an integrated framework that enables the development and operation of native cloud-based (administrative) systems and supports running artificial intelligence algorithms. This framework can cooperate with the software infrastructure services of more than one large cloud service provider, creating the possibility of choosing a cost-effective basic service environment that fits the task and evolution of native cloud-based developments.

The framework created by the project, which provides independence from service providers, solves a specific problem: a development company must usually commit itself to one of the major cloud infrastructure providers. This means that when designing the development projects it undertakes, the cost-effectiveness of the project depends significantly on the pricing model of a service provider's basic service, something that, in some cases, can even make the project itself impossible. This framework offers increased operational security for companies deciding to implement cloud systems. In the event of problems related to the service level or cost level of the basic services, the services used by the ready, functioning system can be replaced by the offer of an alternative service provider.
